Joann Downes’ commitment is to teach and inspire children to fall in love with Jesus every single day, and not just on Sundays. The Children’s Ministry at Dayspring is built on child-like faith and Joann and her team strive to make the children’s programs special, creative, fun and exciting. 

Joann’s desire is to encourage the children at Dayspring to want to see God’s Word as a “lamp to their feet and a light to their path,” just as one of her favorite scripture says.
